I was charged for a renewal but cannot get past the first month on the calendar

A common reason for this can be traced to two scenarios. 

  • The subscription you have is not for the brand of phone you are currently using. A Google Play Store subscription is for Android, an App Store subscription is for an iPhone.
  • You are not logged-in to the store account that purchased the MoonGuide app subscription.


Below are directions for both scenarios.

** If your new phone is NOT the same brand (Android or iPhone) as your previous phone. **

The app subscription purchase is initiated within the MoonGuide app but is paid/processed through the App Store or Google Play Store depending upon the brand of phone. A Google Play Store subscription is for Android and an App Store subscription is for an iPhone. Subscriptions do not transfer between stores


If your OLD phone was an Android and your NEW phone is an iPhone

  • Cancel your MoonGuide subscription through the Google Play Store.
  • Purchase a MoonGuide subscription on your new iPhone.
  • After purchasing a subscription on your iPhone you will get the Create Account screen. 
  • At the bottom of this screen tap the "Already have an account? Login" link to get to the Login screen. 
  • Then Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.


If your OLD phone was an iPhone and your NEW phone is an Android

  • Cancel your MoonGuide subscription through the App Store.
  • Purchase a MoonGuide subscription on your new Android phone.
  • After purchasing a subscription on your Android phone you will get the Create Account screen. 
  • At the bottom of this screen tap the "Already have an account? Login" link to get to the Login screen. 
  • Then Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.

**If you did not change phone brands **

Confirm you are logged-in to the store account that purchased the MoonGuide app subscription by following the directions below.


If your phone is an Android

  • Open the Google Play Store app on your new phone. 
  • Login to the Google Play Store app on your new phone with the account that was used to purchase the MoonGuide subscription.


  • Open the MoonGuide app.

  • Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.


If after opening the app, you get the Create Account screen scroll to the bottom of this screen and tap the "Already have an account? Login" link to get to the Login screen. Then Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.


If your phone is an iPhone

  • Open the Settings app on your new phone.
  • Tap Sign in to your iPhone 
  • Login with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the MoonGuide subscription.
  • Open the MoonGuide app.

  • Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.


If after opening the app, you get the Create Account screen scroll to the bottom of this screen and tap the "Already have an account? Login" link to get to the Login screen. Then Login with your MoonGuide app account credentials.
